Master contest « catch & release » Saturday August 4th 2018 - Carnon Fishing Club
Beautiful sea and heat wave, 19 boats engaged for the 2018 Master of Carnon Fishing Club. In the distance some beautiful hunts of tuna but ultimately only sharks and rays on the Master pictures, no tuna having were tempted by the sardines of the "broumé" candidates to the podium.
After a hot day, the return to the port made it possible to see the photos of the fishes (caught and released immediately after the snapshot) and to determine the winning boat: Cayman of Mr. and Mrs. Romero with 8 blue sharks. These little sharks are harmless to humans and rather numerous this year.
The evening allowed everyone to share their impressions of this day around the glass of friendship. We thank the town hall, the captaincy, the tourist office and the technical services that allowed us to organize this event.
See you next year, Saturday, August 3rd.

Events June 2017
The members and the Carnon Fishing club have broken the Club's activity records in June 2017.
On 13th June nearly 30 members gathered at the 'Maison Familiale des Mines id'Alès at Carnon Plage to organize the two strong events of this month and all had a dinner by the beach.
On the 17th, during the "Carnon en folie" events organized by the municipality, the CFC took over 50 people for an hour fishing at sea. Despite the windy weather conditions that required the team strong efforts when docking. All the "guests" were delighted with the trip and many promised to return if the opportunity arises. In the evening the municipality organized a dinner prepared by the cheerful Carnonnais to thank the organizers of the activities and the CFC was very well represented.
On 20 June, after many joint efforts, we welcomed the Ulis class of Mauguio to allow these slightly handicapped children and their teachers to enjoy a fishing trip at sea. Great atmosphere for these children who were able to catch some fishes which were released when the size was not the right one. Lunch in common with club members and french fries ... All were delighted.
Thank you to all the members of the CFC who gave their time for these events.
